My father received two kidney transplants from anonymous donors in his lifetime (1972, 1982). My sister received a kidney transplant from a co-worker (2021). This cause is important to my family, but even MORE importantly, others who need kidneys around our world! Thank you for your rim to rim hike, Aimee. ♥️

About See One, Be One - Aimee Jahnke's Rim2Rim Challenge

“See One, Be One” is about connection.
Seeing others step forward, we begin to recognize the strength and grace within ourselves. That awareness powers us to say yes, too.

I’m hiking the Grand Canyon with Kidney Donor Athletes to honor the yes I gave for my friend Anna—and all the yeses that made her kidney donation through paired exchange possible.

From the doctors and nurses to the hospital staff, the computer programmers, and the logistics teams who coordinated organ transport across the country—from the people who prayed from home and sent out positive energy, to the ones who showed up in person to help with whatever was needed—every yes mattered.

This isn’t just about living donation. It’s about every act of support, every shared strength, and every conversation that moves someone to say yes—and help those facing kidney disease.
