About this Cause

KDA is gearing up for a first-of-its-kind domestic advocacy adventure! This event will see a team of 15 climbers tackle the Grand Canyon. This one-day adventure involves trekking from the top of the canyon, deep into the valley below, and back up again, covering 20+ miles and 6000+ feet of elevation gain. Our team is doing this to showcase to the world that living kidney donors are not physically limited by donation. It is our hope that we will inspire others to consider the life-saving act of donating their spare kidney.
