Hi, I’m Cristina Fontana, I donated a kidney to a stranger in 2018. It changed my life and ever since I’ve been on a mission to raise awareness and inspire others to consider this life-saving gift. I’m joining 14 other living kidney donors to hike the Grand Canyon Rim to Rim in ONE DAY for the One Kidney Climb. About Cristina’s KDA Grand Canyon Rim-to-Rim Hike

I’m honored to have been selected for the Kidney Donor Athletes’ One Kidney Climb Rim-to-Rim hike across the Grand Canyon happening October 10–14, 2025. I’ll be joining 14 other living kidney donors to raise awareness and show the world what’s possible after donation. Training has already started and while it’s tough, it’s nothing compared to what kidney recipients endure while waiting for a life-saving transplant. I need to raise $2,000 minimum to participate, and anything beyond that will help with travel expenses. All donations are tax-deductible, and truly every dollar makes a difference.
