About Jennifer Lucas' Kidney Donor Athlete Grand Canyon Rim to Rim Challenge!

May 2022 I donated my left kidney to a family friend. Kidney Donor Athletes helped answer questions I had pre-donation and then the Kidney Donor Athletes' community helped and supported me post-donation return to running, hiking and weight lifting. I am excited to help spread the word about the need for kidney donors - currently there are 90,000+ people on the kidney donation list - and help educate potential donors of what life is like post-donation.
